My internship took place at Disney's Animal kingdom in theater operations. I worked at Flights of Wonder - a live, free-flighted bird show, as well as Animal Kingdom's Mickey and Minnie meet and greet location. I'll focus the intern responsibilities for my internship on the Flights of Wonder theatrical show.

Job Description:
Be able to perform all tasks relevant to each position inside the theater during the show. Be sure that guests are safe and are following rules and directions during the show. Show kindness and courtesy to guests at all times. Obtain knowledge about all animals in the show as well as animals located throughout the park. |
Requirements and Qualifications:
At the time of internship application, must be enrolled in at least one college class. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a clean criminal record and some workplace experience. |

Achievements:
It's hard to measure my gained knowledge and experience since being on my internship at Disney. I've learned so much about park operations, management strategies, and exceptional guest service through coaching, observation, and hands-on experience. I've also gained knowledge about working with all different types of people and how to work together with those different types of people in the most efficient way. I've become more confident and courageous in some ways, and learned the art of charisma and courtesy in other ways. I've seen what a great leader looks like and am able to look at difficult situations in different ways to gain the best results. I've learned so much about what it takes to develop a great team and to support them and recognize them in all the ways they are great to help them shine. I've met and been able to learn from great people and have also been able to play a part in creating happiness for guests from all around the world.
